First world problems – mobile edition

My work phone is an HTC Desire. It’s pretty good. It is reliable and seems to generally cope with most apps. I like it a lot.

While it may well be able to run almost every app I throw at it, sadly it is unable to store all the apps I need/want. It is better than my last Android because you can shift app data to the SD card but unfortunately, you can’t shift the whole app. The guts of the app, even after moving, remain on the phone’s internal storage. The internal storage is very small.

What this means is that I have to delete apps all the time in order to install new ones or update existing ones. What a pain.

Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. If I had all the apps I want, would I ever see the real world?
