What’s going on?

What’s happened since I last blogged? I have to admit, it has been a while so I’ll just reel off a few things that have happened recently and maybe they will be of interest to you. Maybe not…

First of all, I’ve recently joined the committee of a national association called TYMBA (Traditional Youth Marching Bands Association) as the Southern area representative. This means it’s my job to liaise with the bands in my area and act as a communications link between the bands and the committee.

I’ve decided that my second album will be available for download for free. Some may think this is absolute madness, I think this a very nice gesture to all those that have kept me going over the years by supporting me, buying my music, keeping me in pants and socks etc.

My career in IT and Business Improvement seems to be going nowhere fast. I seem to have progressed about as far as I possibly can within my current company and I currently can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a fairly turbulent time for the company so it could all change at the drop of a hat. I do see potential there but it’s difficult to do anything about it at the moment with the current lack of resources.

Audiofoolz is slowly but surely gathering momentum. I’ve given a few more people admin powers and given them the rights and power to develop the site as they see fit. At the moment they don’t seem to be doing a lot with it but maybe they just haven’t realised that it’s their site to do with as they please.

Getting married next June. Got the church (yes, a church, I know) and reception venue booked now. Currently looking into honeymoon destinations and such and the stag do planning has begun. I just wish I wasn’t so stressed out with other things, then I might be able to focus more on the wedding and associated events.

Molly the cat is growing all the time and she continues to be a pain in the arse. She’s a year old soon but still behaves like a kitten.

That’s pretty much all I can think of for now. I’ll try to blog more in the future. I’ve neglected you all and for that I apologise.
