Lost Musical Memories
It's so nice when someone reminds you of something that you had created and completely forgotten about. This piece is called "Pulse Width Modulated" and I have no idea when I wrote it.

Made my first tune in YEARS last night. It's not amazing by any standard but it's alright and because I'm nice I'm not just giving you the MP3 file, I'm giving you the FL Studio source file (.flp) too.
Created with FL Studio. Fully functional demo available here:

This is just because Steven Polley keeps bugging me about the horrible trance music I used to make...
This tune is called "Blistered" and was originally going to be released under the Alias "Mista-Blista" but it never got finished. On reflection it's not that bad and with a little tweaking could have been a money maker. I have sooooo many tunes like this you wouldn't believe it! Over time I may post a few more here.
It's an original 12" mix so it has a very long lead in and takes a while to get going. I never got around to making a radio friendly version.
If I can find it, I may even release the source .flp file for any FL Studio users that want to take it further.

Many moons ago I used to write demo songs for FL Studio. If you don't know it, it is an audio production suite and virtual studio. This means I very often find "remixes" of my demos in my inbox. I use the term remix loosely because more often than not, there is so little difference from the original that it can hardly be called a remix.
It's not all rubbish though, sometimes there is a glimmer of hope. In my inbox today I found a remix of Tzachitx by Chris Parsons entitled Just Leaving Town. It isn't perfect, of course, nothing is... But you can clearly hear that a bit of heart, soul and effort went into it.
Good work, Chris. I salute you.
