Fish Slap

I've just been slapped with a fish
It's more than I ever could wish
I love a bit of mackerel or plaice
Especially when slapped round my face
You'll hear me let out a girly shriek
When I feel those scales against my cheek
It isn't pain, anger or fright
It's a shriek of joy and sheer delight

Mullet, salmon, whiting or trout
I don't care just give me a clout
Sea fish or coarse fish, really whatever
Or even a combo with both together
I'm always a very happy chap
Provided you give me a decent slap
Follow these words bang on to the letter
But remember with fish slaps...

The wetter, the better

That be a little poem by me.  :)

I Tried Sushi!

I finally managed to pluck up the courage and try sushi. OK so California rolls aren't technically sushi but the essential ingredients are there: Rice, nori (seaweed), raw fish, pickled ginger and wasabi.

This may seem trivial But it is a big step for me. Eating anything from the sea gives me the fear. Eating uncooked stuff from the sea is death fear combo time!

The amazing thing was that I enjoyed it. Each mouthful had a different flavour. Most of which were completely alien to me.

I will definitely be eating more of this stuff.

Wasabi FTW!
